Perk Cards Guide
Perk Cards let you customize your character’s strengths, weaknesses, and playstyle throughout the game. Whether you want to focus on academics, social life, relationships, or riskier activities, choosing the right combination of cards can make a big difference.

The Three Types of Perk Cards
There are three categories of Perk Cards.
Slot Perks
These are your standard Perk Cards — the foundation of your build and your primary bonuses.
- They consume Perk Slots.
- You can equip up to 4 Slot Perks at once.
- Some powerful cards cost more than one slot.
Passive Perks
Passive Perks represent long-term traits, habits, or lifestyle choices.
Unlike regular perks:
- They do not consume Perk Slots.
- Only one Passive Perk can be active at a time.
- They can be freely toggled on or off whenever you’re managing your loadout.
Because they don’t cost slots, Passive Perks let you slightly customize your character without sacrificing room for your main build.
Flaw Cards
Flaws are optional disadvantages that permanently affect your character while they’re active. In exchange for accepting a drawback:
- Each active Flaw grants +1 additional Perk Slot.
- You can have up to 3 Flaws active at once.
- Flaws do not consume Perk Slots themselves.
Flaws allow you to create more powerful builds — but you’ll have to live with their negative effects.
Perk Slots
Your character has a limited number of Perk Slots.
Normally, this ranges from 1 to 4 base slots. Flaws temporarily increase your available slots. For example:
| Base Slots | Active Flaws | Total Slots |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 0 | 2 |
| 2 | 1 | 3 |
| 3 | 2 | 5 |
| 4 | 3 | 7 |
Even if you gain extra slots through Flaws, you can still equip a maximum of 4 regular Slot Perks. Extra slots simply allow you to use more expensive combinations.
Removing Flaws
Unlike other Perks, Flaws are a commitment.
Before removing a Flaw, you must first unequip:
- every regular Slot Perk
- your active Passive Perk
Only then can the Flaw be removed. Think carefully before activating one!
Building Your Loadout
A good loadout is all about balance. Ask yourself:
- Do you want more raw power? Activate a Flaw to gain extra slots.
- Want a unique playstyle? Choose a Passive that complements your strategy.
- Need flexibility? Keep fewer Flaws active so you can change builds more easily.
Experiment with different combinations to find what works best for your playthrough.
Saving Loadouts
You can save up to five Loadout Presets. Presets allow you to quickly switch between different builds without having to equip every card manually.
This is especially useful if you like having specialized builds for academics, social events, competitions, or adult activities.
Collecting and Upgrading Perks
You’ll earn Perk Cards through gameplay, story events, shops, and Perk Packs.
Duplicate cards are automatically converted into Musk Dust, which can be used to upgrade your existing cards and make them even stronger.
Tips
- Passive Perks are free — always make sure you have one equipped.
- Flaws can dramatically strengthen your build, but only if you can manage their downsides.
- Save multiple presets for different situations.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment. Different combinations can unlock powerful synergies between Perk Cards.
